Stop off at this bakery–café in the Treasure Cay shopping strip for just-made muffins and some of the best cinnamon rolls you'll ever try. You'll know you've found it by the smell of those fresh-baked treats and the line of people waiting to indulge. They serve American and Bahamian cooked breakfast as well. Lunch is cheeseburgers, grouper fingers, lobster, and conch snacks, as well as a variety of sandwiches. Anglers can order picnic lunches to go. You can also arrange for the chef to cater private dinners of lobster, steak, and more in your rented condo or cottage. 

This brightly painted restaurant is perched on a wooden dock over the southwestern side of the harbor. The Bahamian food menu is simple, but everything is delicious. Be sure to order some conch fritters to start—they're some of the best you'll find. They also have a delicious brunch on Saturday, complete with bottomless mimosas or pitchers of freshly made sangria or mojitos. Specialty nights draw a crowd—there's karaoke on Tuesday evening. Wednesday Hump Day, you can enjoy all-day happy-hour specials on wings, conch fritters, and margaritas. 

Expect casual lunches and dinners of hot wings, conch burgers, fish nuggets, and steak wraps in this harbor-view restaurant and bar, located inside the Marsh Harbour Marina. If you're dying for a steak after a steady fish diet, these are the best in The Abacos. Unless you're staying on this side of the harbor, you'll need a car or taxi to get here, or expect a long walk from the main street.

Next door to Pete's Gallery is an outdoor tiki hut restaurant and bar where you can wiggle your toes in the sand while you chow down on fresh seafood, burgers, and cold tropical drinks. This is Marsh Harbour's most popular restaurant—the place to go for good food, potent rum cocktails, and serious people-watching. Lunch is a scene, especially if you sit outside, where you'll find a mix of locals, tourists, and boaters enjoying Greek or Caesar salads, spicy grouper, and mahimahi burgers. Inside there's a stylish bar where you can enjoy cocktails or a meal, a small boutique, and three dining rooms, all adorned with Haitian paintings. Dinner is served every night except Sunday and the menu includes creamy curried shrimp, mahimahi Provençal, or a filet mignon smothered in a mushroom sauce, as well as a daily sashimi. Save room for the irresistible key lime pie or Bahamian bread pudding with coconut and raisins, drenched in a brandy sauce.

Open Thursday through Sunday for dinner only, this spot is one of the only places you can dine inside in the airconditoning in northern Abaco. Saturday evening head here for Prime Rib night and choose a pairing from the area's most extensive wine list.

One of the only restaurants that's made a comeback in the Treasure Cay area offers a menu with the standard delicious Bahamian dishes you'd expect for both lunch and dinner. The poolside spot at Bahama Beach Club is known, however, for its varied theme nights. Steak takes center stage one night, and another it's tacos and tapas or Italian cuisine. Seating is inside or outdoors poolside. If you have a special occasion to celebrate, talk to the team about setting up a table for two or 20 right on the beach.

Ten minutes north of Treasure Cay Resort, this locals'-favorite, no-frills restaurant serves traditional Bahamian dishes such as grilled freshly caught grouper and minced local lobster stewed with tomatoes, onions, and spices. Reasonably priced appetizers such as conch chowder and conch fritters, and a full bar make this a perfect option for a night out. Be sure to save room for their homemade banana or coconut cream pies. Free shuttle service is available from the parking lot in front of the Treasure Cay Marina.
